Practice! Practice!
We went to the Rose Garden today. It was filled with... roses of course. And here I am learning to walk with mom's help. Walking is a lot of work. I'm used to crawling so using only my legs to get around is tricky for me. But I'm getting the hang of it little by little. Soon I should be able to run!
Last week we went to the library. I enjoyed that trip. I love books. At the end of it I was so tired I fell asleep in my stroller and didn't wake up until we were at dad's office.

Eleven Months!
Ah, it's midnight. Last night we had cake and pasta and ice cream. I'm eleven months old! Soon I'll be one year old. How fast time flies.
I can stand, with a little help of course. I like to eat rice. I still love milk. I enjoy crawling around, especially under the crib and under mom's work table. I love playing with mom and dad, and my toys! I also love the pillows.

Music and ABCs
Magically, a new toy appears every now and then. I like this one. When I press the buttons it makes music, like the ABC song or a blues riff. It's got lots of nifty sliders that do different things. It's got lots of shapes and different colors and lights and pictures.
I have a few toys already that sing the ABC song. It seems pretty important. Am I supposed to learn it too?
Today I also met Tita Sylvia and two of my cousins - Kevin and Karen.

Gymboree
Mom and Dad took me to Gymboree class. I have to admit I was a bit afraid at first. But it was fun. I was just overwhelmed by the strangers and the colors and the lights. Can you blame me? I'm not used to seeing such things all at once. I enjoyed going through the tunnels and playing with the stuffed bees. I liked balancing on the ball and going under the colorful parachute. But because I cried a lot Mom and Dad decided it wasn't for me. At least not yet.

Now I'm Ten Months Old
Cake, ice cream, spaghetti! None for me, but I enjoy looking at the candles. I eat food from jars and fruit cup, but no spaghetti. I'm allergic to milk so I can't have ice cream yet.
I still sleep a lot, but I sleep through the night. Well, maybe not. I ask for milk around 2 or 3 in the morning. But hey, I'm a growing girl.

The Shape Shorter
I have a new shape shorter. I'm still trying to figure it out. Hey, I'm only 10 months old, what can you expect? Dad stacks them all and I go pushing the blocks so they come crashing down. I also enjoy emptying the box and scattering the blocks.
Lolo Turing also gave me a Sulley stuffed toy, you know, Sulley from Monsters, Inc. I haven't seen the movie but I like to hug Sulley. He's so cute and cuddly.

Welcome To Hollywood
The stars on the sidewalk, that big HOLLYWOOD sign, Kodak Theater... We went to L.A. to visit Mom's friends, and strolled around Hollywood until their feet hurt. As for me, I'm happy in my stroller.
